Maharashtra Industry Development Association (MIDA) has been functioning for the last 25 years for industrial and economic growth of the State. MIDA, being a leading advocacy and lobbying organisation of the State, acts as a Think Tank to provide useful & necessary inputs and suggestions to the State and Central Governments, Corporates, MNCs, Banks, Financial Institutions, regulatory authorities and Government Agencies to provide level playing fields and secure the interests of the industries in “ease of doing business” for inclusive & sustainable growth of the State. MIDA is also focussing on the infrastructural and industrial development in the rural areas, SME and Entrepreneurship empowerment, Environmental protection, Tourism Promotion, setting up of new industries, industrial parks, clusters and industrial zones and providing Government services and assistance to resolve grievances and issues as well as take up the problems of the industries with the appropriate authorities.
MIDA is representing a large number of members from the manufacturing industries, SMEs, exports, power, agro-based industries, infrastructure, realty, allied industrial sectors, service industry, IT & ICT, start-ups, co-operative businesses, education and enterprises involved in the various business sectors. MIDA is regularly providing support services to the member industries to explore emerging business opportunities in India and abroad, identifying partners for the investments, joint ventures, technology transfers, contract manufacturing, collaborations, distributions, franchise, marketing, promotion & branding.
